Michael Walsh

Inspector Michael Walsh has over 29 years of law enforcement experience with the Detroit Police Department, where he started as a Police Officer and retired in August of 2010 as a Lieutenant.  His experience in the Detroit Police Department included over 14 years in the Major Crimes Division as a Police Officer and Sergeant in the Armed Robbery Unit, then as the Officer in Charge of the Sex Crime Unit, Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team and finally the Eastern District Investigative Operation Unit.  In addition he is a graduate of the Eastern Michigan Staff and Command School (2000). Inspector Walsh came to the Detroit Public Schools Police Department in August, 2010.
