About Us

John J. Bagley Elementary School of Journalism & Technology offers Pre-K through 6th grades in a nurturing, stimulating learning environment. In collaboration with parents, students, staff, and stakeholders we promote and encourage student academic achievement and provide a data driven, rigorous, challenging core curriculum with the integration of Journalism & Technology. It is our goal to enhance the learning environment through differentiated, innovative instruction, and authentic learning opportunities to provide all students the intellectual capabilities to succeed in a competitive, diverse and technologically global society. Through new media-based programs, school partnerships and projects, students will learn to creatively develop and apply their critical thinking, documentation, communication, presentation and literacy skills, explore digital innovations and enhance their publishing skills.
