Adult Education Schools
Detroit Public Schools’ Adult Education programs offer High School Completion, General Educational Development (GED), Adult Basic Education/Pre-GED, and English as a Second Language. We provide free classes for more than 1,200 adult learners 18+, giving them the opportunity to upgrade their academic skills, complete high school, obtain a General Educational Development (GED) and other services. We also provide opportunities at two Detroit Learning Labs for students to receive GED preparation.
